    Then install it on your PC

HOW TO CONFIGURE YOUR-FREEDOM FOR MTN FREE BROWSING

    Launch your Your-Freedom Software...
    Click On Configure
    On Your-Freedom Server Address Tab Enter this XML server name = ems02.your-freedom.de or ems19.your-freedom.de
    Then PORT: 53.
    Connection Mode Drop Dropdown ,=> DNS => Select TWEAK => NIGERIA MTN
    For Option Select And Tick Option , 1,3,6, and 7.
    After setting up the above, just leave the rest as it is and move on to the next step.

Now move to your Account Registration Info in Account Tab and input Your username and password

After that, click SAVE and EXIT

That's all for the configuration.

Now it's time to connect your MTN Modem/Mobile Hotspot using the default connection settings.
Do just that and go back to Your freedom and click CONNECT.

Once you Click Connect.,a message will pop-up telling you to Allow Access, Click on that and proceed to the next phase...

Once it's Connected, Configure Your Browser like below:
In Browser Address ::::

 Proxy Address: 127.0.0.1
 Port: 8080

Now you are good to go. Just enter any site of your choice and start browsing free via your freedom app.

HOW TO USE YOUR-FREEDOM ON ANDROID

At the moment, configuration on android is not available yet. So watch out for that any time soon!!!

With the above Trick.,you can now Browse for free with your MTN Network on your PC Using Your-Freedom Software but the problem with it is that it's Slow in Downloading. So if you can browse the Internet without downloading large files then you are good to go!

MTN Set to Roll Out 4G LTE in Lagos & Abuja + Pays FG N18.96bn For Broadband Aquisition

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) , Wednesday formally declared MTN Nigeria as the winner of the 2.6GHz spectrum auction. After shelling out a whopping N18.96 Billion to the federal government of Nigeria as payment to slots it won in the 2.6GHz spectrum auction

The NCC has described this spectrum as a significant trigger for a broadband revolution that will unlock benefits such as greater coverage, access, affordability and innovation, with the customer at the centre of these gains.

The 2.6GHz acquisition, he said has set the stage for the roll-out of 4G LTEbroadband internet services across the country, starting in the major cities of Lagos and Abuja.

MTN is seeing its success in this auction as a big boost to its plan to deliver global mobile broadband and LTE 4G services to over 60 million customers in Nigeria.

I can fully see the 4G LTE sign on my phone, fully waiting for the launch. Others in Abuja should also see the same.

When it comes to things like this, other states are usually the last to witness including Port-Harcourt (Maybe those states are not part of Nigeria).

As pasted by MTN "Please cascade to the associates that MTN happy hour call (Free night call)  which started October 2006 has been discontinued effect tonight, as directed by NCC.

Hence, all happy hours calls will be billed from tonight.Thank you."

Before now, users with a minimum of N100 in their airtime balance, can engage in free night calls from 12:30AM to 4:30AM but going forward, that has been discontinued. Calls within that period (happy hour) will attract normal charges. Despite the facts that NCC has lifted regulatory ban on MTN for several infraction, this is not the change users bargain for.

But if you still make use of Glo, you can opt in for glo to glo free mid night call.

• Firstly, go to your simple server settings file and change your VALHDR0 and IQUERY  from ‘web.blackberry.com’ to ‘wap.blackberry.com’ as shown in the picture below

 

• Now you go to download a simple tool called reconnect(220KB) here
• After Download, you configure it as follows: select your modem settings name under connection, username and passsword should be web, Dial mode is Async, tick Auto reconnect, then if you wish you can tick start with windows.
